The Fishery Industrial Technology Center, also known by its acronym FITC is an organization that came into being in the year 1981 as an initiative of the Alaska State Legislature. Also known as Fish Tech, this organization is one of six segments of the School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences, or SFOS, which belongs to the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Headquartered at Kodiak, Alaska, this organization has Ms. Paula Cullenberg and Mr. Keith Criddle as its co directors who are currently leading this organization. Committed to take the Alaskan fisheries sector and ocean resources to consistent growth and progress, this organization also conducts many courses, trainings and educational programs apart from many seminars and forums of international nature. The Brown Bag Lunch Seminar Series is one of the major events that FITC organizes.
