ABOUT Fundacion El Libro

Fundacion El Libro based out of Buenos Aires was established in the year 1974 with the sole objective of promoting books and aiding an increase in reading habits of the younger generation. The initiative was taken by an executive committee comprising of various commercial and private bodies related to books and finally it took the shape of a foundation in 1984. Under the dynamic leadership of Chairman Gustavo G. Canevaro, the company organizes various activities all round the year with the sole objective of encouraging reading practices. Feria Internacional del Libro de Buenos Aires, Feria del Libro de Cordoba, Feria del Libro de Cordoba, Feria del Libro Infantil y Juvenil are few of its highly successful ventures. One of its most remarkable contributions is the book donations that they organize from which many needy schools and children continue to benefit.
