ABOUT Gama Filho University

Universidad Gama Filho begins in 1939, when Minister Luiz Gama Filho founded Ginasio Piedade. It is one of the most important Higher Education institutions in Rio de Janeiro and it consists of Campus Gonzaga da Gama Filho. Its mission is to achieve excellence in education and produce knowledge, shaping competent professionals that are committed to ethical values and to the formation of a fair and democratic society. Gama Filho aims at being an educational institution that is regionally, nationally and internationally recognized for the production of competent professionals, in sync with the society needs, as well as the knowledge production. Gama Filho is supporting the Project of Reagir Association collecting toys, clothes and food.
