ABOUT German Society for Wound Healing and Wound Care Association

German Society for Wound Healing and Wound Care Association or DGfW was founded in 1994 in Wiesbaden, Germany. Professor Dr. Peter M. Vogt is the President of the organization. DGfW is a member of EWMA or European Wound Management Association. German Society for Wound Healing and Wound Care Association works with the aim of knowledge transfer between research and practice to improve treatment of acute and chronic wounds. German Society for Wound Healing and Wound Care Association along with its associates deal with the subject of wound healing. DGfW Association organizes many national and regional conferences, seminars and workshops to make the participants and the practitioners aware of wound, its healing and wound care. The Freiburger Symposium Wound, The Infected Wound and the Care Congress in Vienna are the important conferences which are to be organized by DGfW.
