ABOUT GUIDE Association

GUIDE Association - Global Universities in Distance Education - is a non-profit, non-political and non-secretarial organization, which is not aligned to any party ideology. The Association finds its origin from the common need of Distance Universities (Open Universities) to promote and enhance education, by supporting research and increasing cooperation, respecting cultural diversities of each member. GUIDE also intends to work towards the internationalization of knowledge through technologies and subsequent methods, which favour the exchange of ideas in a dynamic context, also able to create learning methods open to all situations and needs. The Association is based upon the knowledge and the experience that its international members have attained, with a view to the development and the use of innovative methodologies and technologies.
