ABOUT Gynecologic Oncology Group

Gynecologic Oncology Group or GOG is a society for promoting research and development in gynecologic disorders especially those which are related to oncology and are oncologically triggered. Formed in the year 1970, this not for profit organization represents a large member base spread across the US teat represents professionals related to the field such as gynecologic oncologists, radiologists, medical oncologists, pathologists, radiation oncologists, nurses, statisticians etc. Utilizing its dedicated efforts in upgrading the quality of patient care through constant innovation, this organization is supported and sponsored by the National Cancer Institute or NCI. Guiding this organization is the present Chairman of GOG, Mr. Philip J. DiSaia. Organizing a wide range of pertinent symposia, scientific sessions, workshops, training sessions and forums as a part of its activities, GOG holds its Semi Annual Meeting regularly.
