ABOUT Heart Failure Association of the European Society of Cardiology

Heart Failure Association of the European Society of Cardiology, also known as HFA, is a leading association of cardiology and heart diseases representing 3, 600 members comprising of practicing Cardiologists and Physicians concerned with the management of patients with heart failure. Based in France, this organization was established with the aim to build specialized platform for all those who are interested or actively involved in administering the growing problem of heart failure to meet, interact and work in close network with their counterparts across Europe. Led by its President, Prof. Piotr Ponikowski, this premier association aims to improve the quality of life through advancements in preventive measures, diagnosis and treatment of heart failure. In keeping with its mission, this organization presents the Heart Failure Congress, a well known conference for its community.
