ABOUT Human Interfaces in Information Systems (HIIS) Laboratory

Based in Italy, the Human Interfaces in Information Systems Laboratory, also known as HIIS is a part of the Institute of Information Science and Technologies of the Italian National Research Council, ISTI CNR. The chief aim of this organization to recommend innovative solutions pertaining to basic and applied research in the area of interactive correlation between human and computer especially in user interface software and technologies. Highly efficient in conducting various national and international programs and private sector R and D contracts, this organization boasts of its cutting edge research activities which aims to offer the most up to date methods and tools to support user interface designers and software developers for various purposes. Being steered by its Director, Mr. Fabio Paterno, this organization has conferences like the Migratory User Interfaces and the Symposium on Engineering Interactive Computing Systems in queue.
