ABOUT ICREA

The Catalan Institute for Research and Advanced Studies is a foundation backed by the Government of Catalonia and is governed by a Board. This also helps to facilitate the return of its own researchers who conducted his research centers outside of Catalonia. It actively collaborates with universities in Catalonia under which the Faculty Research and ICREA researchers integrate. It continues offering new contracts in pursuance of its plans to incorporate research and continue contributing to the growth of the work done in Catalonia. Cooperation, openness eagerness of international excellence is its main characteristics. In its years of activity, it has hired 30% in life sciences and medicine, 27% in experimental sciences and mathematics, 12% in social sciences, 15.5% to 15.5% in humanities and technology areas.
