The IEEE Education Society (EdSoc) is a society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). The aim of the society is to focusedly work towards making the educational practices and educational technology delivered to its member institutes and individual. The IEEE Education Society came into its current shape in 1978. The IEEE Education Society publishes a variety of publication in the various fields of interest mainly comprising of technology, education, computer science and engineering.
