ABOUT IEEE-Fort Worth

As an important constituent of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc, also known as IEEE, IEEE Fort Worth section primarily promotes and supports this professional body. The main office of this organization is located in Arlington, Texas in the US while this society is currently being administered by the Chairperson, Mr. Timothy O Conner. Entirely dedicated to improve the scope of the practices in the sector of electrical and electronics engineering, this society also seeks to induce new developments in the industry by assisting IEEE. In keeping with its aims, the IEEE Fort Worth section carries out a wide range of activities such as arranging seminars, technical conferences, workshops and other educational as well as promotional activities. Having organized programs like the very successful North Texas Educator In Service Day Workshop, this section also organizes its annual technical conference called MetroCon every year.
