ABOUT IEEE Opole Student Branch

An important associate of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc, better known as IEEE, IEEE Opole Student Branch, or the IEEE Opole SB, came to be formed in the year 2007 by the Student Research Group, ELEDYN from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatic Control and Computer Science at the Opole University of Technology. Situated in Opole, Poland, this organization is being led by its Chairperson, Mr. Piotr Graca. The main aim of this society is to contribute to the benefit of IEEE and to assist the students in inculcating interests in the field of electrical engineering. In keeping with this view, this organization is actively involved in organizing technical conferences and seminars. One of the major conferences co organized by this society is the biennially held International Student Conference on Electrodynamics and Mechatronics.
