ABOUT IEEE Portugal Section

IEEE Portugal Section is the an organization that is associated with Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers or IEEE, which is one of the leading professional organizations in the entire world. IEEE was established in 1963 by the amalgamation of the Institute of Radio Engineers and the American Institute of Electrical Engineers. The aim of this organization is to contribute significantly to the all round development of technology by providing important information and research work on all the latest advancements as well as innovations of this field that would be used for the betterment of the human kind. Rui Santos Cruz is the Chair of this section that is situated in Porto Salvo, Portugal. In the year 2005 this chapter was established. IEEE Recent Advances in Intelligent Computational Systems is one of the many events that are organized by this association.
