ABOUT INFN Section of Milan

As a premier research institute based in Italy that had made a beginning in the year 1951, the INFN, also expanded as the National Institute of Nuclear Physics is committed to exclusively with the fundamentals in the fields of nuclear physics, precisely the Astroparticle and subnuclear physics. Having a presence in all the major Italian cities, the Milan section of INFN has its main office in Milan. This organization is currently being under the leadership of its Director, Dr. Giuseppe Battistoni and it is at the forefront of conducting, financing and coordinating the basic research activities to further its mission of constantly introducing innovations in the field. The International Meeting on Nuclear Physics Bormio and the Energy for the Future Nuclear and renewables are some of the most famous conferences that this organization has presented till date.
