The International Life Science Institute Europe or ILSI was established in the year 1986 and since then this non-profit organization has focused on various issues of scientific importance such as food safety, toxicology, nutrition, the environment and risk assessment. With its headquarters at Washington D.C, ILSI brings on a common platform for the decision making authorities from the government as well as the industry, inviting them to participate in a host of seminars and conferences focusing on a number of key aspects from the domain of public health and well being.
