ABOUT International Plastic Modelers Society

International Plastic Modelers Society (IPMS), located in N. Canton, is the United States Branch of the IPMS headquartered in Great Britain. It was started in 1964 dedicated to promote the hobby of modeling. Since its inception it has been acting as the common platform for all the modelers to share their experiences and skills. They also encourage their members to compete among each other in an amicable environment by organizing contests in regional, local and national level. They also organize conventions where the modelers come and meet to exchange tips and procedures and also do projects. Headed by Dick Montgomery, the President, they are also involved in the noble mission of supporting the soldiers by supplying them with tools and kits. They are also the proud organizers of annual National Conventions and shows like MosquitoCon XX, Valleycon and so on.
