ABOUT Johnson County Community College

Johnson County Community College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association. Its individual programs are accredited by associated professional organizations. Johnson County Community College is the first and only school in Kansas to join Achieving the Dream: Community Colleges Count, a national initiative to help more community college students succeed. Through achieving the Dream and the college's engagement with developmental education, it realized a great opportunity to encourage more students to complete degrees and certificates, to create a more skilled and educated workforce, to strengthen our regional economy, and improve the lives of our students. At Johnson County Community College, college stakeholders have identified developmental education as the most pressing challenge.
