Japan Vacuum Industry Association (JVIA) is an events & trade shows organiser. The Vacuum Society of Japan was established in July 1958 and performed two kinds of activities - academic and industrial. Since around 1981, vacuum technology has been considered as a key, leading-edge technology, supporting the development of main industries including the semiconductor and electronics industries.

Vacuum 2008 will be an excellent place to meet prospects who have high concern in purchasing Vacuum equipment, materials, and services. They will visit the show for not only inspection but also purchase. According to the visitor survey, many of them have roles in purchasing decisions. Venue: Tokyo International Exhibition Center (Tokyo Big Sight), Tokyo, Japan.
