Kenya Publishers Association, also abbreviated as KPA, is a company that was established in the year 1972, in Kenya. This company aims at to encourage the widest possible spread of printed books throughout Kenya and beyond, to promote and protect by all lawful means the interests of the publishing industry in Kenya, to protect members by dealing collectively with problems which can best be so dealt with and many more. This company hosts workshops and seminars on topical issues, book launches, children activities and many more. Mrs. Nancy Karimi, Managing Director, The Jomo Kenyatta Foundation is the Chairperson of this organization. This company also hosts Presentation of the Jomo Kenyatta Prize for Literature Award.
