ABOUT Lebanese American University

The Lebanese American University, also known by its abbreviated form, LAU, was formed in the year 1924. Widely known as one of the most preeminent centers for higher education not just in Lebanon but also in the entire Middle East and North Africa region, this university is currently under the leadership of its current President, Mr. Joseph G. Jabbra. Focusing its efforts on achieving the highest standards of academic excellence, this university strives towards creating leaders in diverse fields with the aim of contributing to the nation. LAU also includes within its activities, the organization of seminars, conferences, workshops in keeping with its missions. The International Symposium on Architectural Theory Architecture and the Political and IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits, and Systems are some of the upcoming endeavors of this premier university.
