Local Government Professionals Inc is a highly celebrated organization that is dedicated to all the Local Government professionals of the nation. This organization which is the voice and face of all these professionals is aimed at offering guidance to them. This association also instigates mutual camaraderie and professional growth. This organization is also known as LGPro, which is its abbreviation. The main office of this organization is located in South Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. In the between 1996 and 1997, this association was established. The Victorian branches of the Institute of Municipal Management, Victorian Municipal Community Services Association and the Institute of Municipal Engineering Australia amalgamated together to form this organization. The LGPro Annual Conference, LGPro Executive Leadership Program and LGPro Emerging Leaders Program are some of the many events organized by this association.
