The Malaysian Shipowners' Association (MASA) was established in 1976 with the main objective of protecting and promoting the interest of Malaysian shipowners. The affairs of the Association are managed by an Executive Committee comprising a Chairman, a Vice-Chairman, an Honorary Secretary, an Honorary Treasurer, a representative of a member whose registered office and place of business is in the State of Sabah, a representative of a member whose registered office and place of business is in the State of Sarawak, a representative of a member who is operating Liner Services, a representative of a member who is operating Tanker Services, a representative of a member who is operating Offshore Services, a representative of a member who is operating Bulk Services and two other Committee members.
