ABOUT MARDI

MARDI is an organization that is completely dedicated to carry out all kinds of research activities in the field of food, agriculture and agro based industries. This is one of the most significant statutory bodies in the entire Malaysia. Even though this organization was founded in the year 1969, it started to function completely only by the year 1971. The main office of this association is situated in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Datuk Dr Abd. Abd Shukor. Rahman is the General of this association. The aim of this organization is to endorse various innovative technologies to produce novel crop diversities and clones, fresh livestock breeds as well as ways of administration to bring forth an all round progress in all the related industries. National Horticulture Conference is a symposium that is organized by this association.
