ABOUT Maths, Stats & Or Network, Birmingham

The Maths, Stats & OR Network encourages lectures in Mathematics, Statistics and Operational Research and also promotes, distributes as well as develops good practice of learning and teaching across the United Kingdom. This association is hosted by a partnership team of University of Birmingham, Glasgow, Nottingham Trent Universities and the RSS Centre for Statistical Education. The Royal Statistical Society or the RSS aims to promote the improvement of statistical education at all ages. The work of this area is carried out on four main areas like- School and further education, higher education for all courses in which statistics is taught, continuing professional development and the society as whole. Although this society is based in United Kingdom but it works in an international forum.
