ABOUT MICCAI

MICCAI or Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention is an annual flagship conference held by the MICCAI society which was formed in the year 2004. This not for profit organization dedicatedly works towards the promotion and development of research works related to medical image computing and computer assisted medical interventions. For this noble mission to develop the healthcare sector they use robots and biomedical imaging which are the recent inventions in the medical world. Headquartered in Minnesota, they also aim towards the exchange and use of any new invention in these fields by scientists and technicians in any part of the world other than promoting education in this domain. Captained by the President Mr. James Duncan this society has been trying to collate and let others know the works of various scientists in this field, since its inception.
