With annual meetings and publishing journals & news, the Michigan Academy of Science, Arts, and Letters aims to provide opportunity for knowledge exchange between the professionals of at Michigan colleges and universities. It draws the members from Michigan colleges & universities including students, faculty members, independent scholars, other state’s scholars, and people involved in relevant research in business and government. Annual conferences and publications are the most prior activities of the academy which is held generally in March of each year and being hosted by one of its member institutions. The academy is funded for its infrastructure and financial support by its member institutions. Once a year, The Michigan Academy publishes an article which is presented at the annual conference.
