Minnesota State Fair is one of the largest state fairs in the entire United States of America. It was in the year 1859, after Minnesota had gained statehood that the first State Fair was organized. This organization is a quasi state agency that is financially self sustaining. The annual revenue that is earned by this association is approximately 500,000 USD. The aim of this organization is to endorse the most excellent agriculture, art and industry of the state of Minnesota. To look after the interests of this fair, Minnesota State Fair Foundation was established. Mr. Frank Parisi is the Chair of this foundation. Apart from the main fair, there are other events that are also organized by this association through out the year like North Central Reining Futurity and Derby Show, Model Railroad Show and Antique Mission Furniture Show.
