ABOUT Mansoura University Faculty of Science Chemistry Department

Mansoura University Faculty of Science Chemistry Department is the largest department of the university as it boasts of the largest number of students and faculty. The department was founded in 1969 and has since then been enriching the students with broad scope of knowledge and understanding in fields related to science and chemistry. In order to focus on various aspects of the science, the department has three faculties namely Organic Chemistry, non-organic i.e Physical, Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry and Biochemistry. The department is headed by Prof. Awad Ibrahim Ahmed Mohamed who ensures that academicians, researchers and professionals working in the fields of chemistry are able to benefit from the various developments that are taking place in the field. Conferences like the International conference on chemistry and its role in development are some of the dedicated endeavors of this institution.
