ABOUT NC New Schools Project

In 2003, with the support of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, North Carolina New Schools Project (NCNSP) was established to develop the high schools across the state by working with schools districts and educators. NCNSP is working with the organizations focused on creation of schools across North Carolina. NCNSP supports the colleges, universities, and state government in the planning of new schools through the efforts of school administrators who share their experience and skills with the students. NCNSP designs schools for the students to succeed in their future learning. Across North Carolina, around 100 high schools are associated with NCNSP to prepare students for their college studies. NCNSP conducts conferences and summer institute designed for educators.
