ABOUT NEDO

Established in the year 1998, NEDO, an acronym for North East Development Organization, is a well-known non-profit association set up to provide a sustainable support to the rural and the backward communities in the North-eastern states of India. This leading NGO is located in Guwahati, Assam and is currently being led by its Managing Director Mr. Jayanta Das and its Chairman Mr. Prasanta Choudhury. Striving forward for the welfare and an all-round upliftment of the North-Eastern states, NEDO deals with a variety of activities like rural development, commercial progress, micro credit, many small agro-businesses etc. The most-awaited upcoming event of this organization is the 'North East Auto Expo' and it is to be organized in collaboration with Mohans Group. This trade show is aimed to provide a boost to the automotive industry in the North East and to open up new employment opportunities.
