ABOUT Namik Kemal University Agricultural Faculty

Established on March 17, 2006, the Namik Kemal University is counted among one of the best universities in Turkey. Best known for its ongoing initiatives to promote scientific innovations and research skills among the youths of the nation, this university enjoys a pride of place for its immense contributions to community environment and the socio economic condition on national as well as global basis. Among the four of its faculties, the Faculty of Agriculture was started in 1982 and is instrumental in the agricultural advancements of the nation. This university is situated in Tekirdag and it is currently operating under the leadership of its rector, Prof. Dr. Nizamettin Senkoylu and its Dean, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Citir. In accordance with its missions, the Faculty of Agriculture of this university also organizes the International Congress on Mechanization and Energy in Agriculture.
