ABOUT Oregon School Boards Association

The Oregon School Boards Association is dedicated to improving student achievement through advocacy, leadership and service to locally-elected, volunteer Oregon public school boards. OSBA is governed by a member-elected board and serves K-12 public school boards, public charter school boards, education service district boards, community college boards and the State Board of Education. Board members from all around the state get inspired and energized at annual convention each November in Portland. The convention features nationally recognized keynote speakers and three days of workshops and discussion on all aspects of board service and school programs. Each July, board members meet to learn more about board leadership and school business. The summer conference is a great opportunity for new and experienced board members and and superintendents to train together as a team.
