ABOUT Palliative Care Australia

Palliative Care Australia is an important national organization that stands for all those who support and share the idea of quality living in the last days of one's life. This organization aims at promoting the noble cause of ensuring quality life for all those who are living in terminally critical positions and for whom spending the last days in quality condition is the only hope and wish left. This organization was established in 1990 as the Australian Association for Hospice and Palliative Care Inc and since then has been working for the noble cause of giving quality life to people nearing the end of life. Dr Scott Blackwell has been steering the organizational activities as the President and has effectively helped the organization in realizing its goals. Events like the National Palliative Care Week, National Community Education Initiative and Diversity are some of the important efforts by this organization.
