ABOUT Pedro Kouri Institute

Pedro Kouri Institute was founded on 8 December 1937, annexed to the University of Havana Medical School. The work developed by its founder, Professor Pedro Kouri, in the field of parasitological research, made it possible for the Institute to reach a site of deserved prestige among parasitologists and other specialists, dedicated to Tropical Medicine all over the world. It is also involved in organising events & conferences.
