ABOUT Pharmaceutical Society of Australia

An initiative of the state professional pharmaceutical societies, the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia, also known as PSA, was set up in the year 1977 with the aim to provide the pharmaceutical industry with a national recognition as well as an opportunity to leverage collaborative efforts between the industry and the Commonwealth Government, other professions and industries. Based in Australia, this organization primary role is to provide initial and ongoing education, training and practice support for pharmacists and other professionals in the industry. The president of this organization is Mr. Warwick Plunkett. In keeping with its aim of enabling excellence in the pharmaceuticals practices for enhancing the current status of this industry as well as to initiate improvements in health outcomes, PSA will also organize the Multidisciplinary Health Symposium.
