The Point of Purchase Advertising International, more popularly known as POPAI, is a not for profit international trade organization that deals with the all the aspects of marketing at the retail industry sector. Present across the world in more than 45 countries, this premier organization was established in the year 1936. The main office of POPAI is located in Chicago, Illinois while it also has representative offices in other countries including Argentina, Brazil, Central Europe, India, Spain, UK and more. This organization is currently under the leadership of its Chairman, Mr. Chris Young and its President, Mr. Richard Winter. Boasting of a member base that features many eminent brand names in the retail industry such as Coca Cola, Pepsi, Johnson and Johnson and McDonalds to name a few. The SF POP Show and the GlobalShop are two important events presented by this organization.
