ABOUT Queensland Studies Authority

The Queensland Studies Authority (QSA) is a statutory body of the Queensland Government. They provide Kindergarten to Year 12 syllabuses, guidelines, assessment, reporting, testing, accreditation and certification services for Queensland schools. The QSA was established on 1 July 2002, replacing the Queensland School Curriculum Council, the Queensland Board of Senior Secondary School Studies and the Tertiary Entrance Procedures Authority. The QSAs peak decision-making mechanism is the Governing Body, whose members represent teacher, parent, union and higher education groups, and the State, Catholic and Independent school sectors. The QSAs vision is to provide quality, innovative and future-focused products and services to assist all Queensland educational communities. They are working with schools to provide the best education and training for students.
