ABOUT Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM)

As Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture was established in 2004 in association of 29 universities in Eastern, Central and Southern Africa. While ensuring excellent international practices and quality, the RUFORUM structure is maintained to promote ownership of the organisation by the member of universities. By providing training of high quality researchers and the maintenance of mutual working relations among researchers RUFORUM aims to build up the capacities of universities to promote innovations responsive. As it is a Not-for-Profit limited company registered in Uganda, at present in the process of registering as an International Non-Governmental Organization. RUFORUM plays an important role in helping the welfare of small-scale farmers.
