ABOUT RIL

RIL, expanded as the Finnish Association of Civil Engineers, is a professional body of the civil engineering stream comprising of civil engineers with Master of Science degree and the university students of civil engineering. This organization was established in 1934 and since then, it has been at forefront of architectural development, urban planning and environmental technology in Finland. RIL is headquartered in Helsinki and it is currently being steered by its Managing Director and CEO, Ms. Helena Soimakallio. Aimed at promoting the traditional conceptions of solid and durable building and maintenance, RIL is also wholly devoted to the welfare of its member community. Working relentlessly towards bringing together some of the most highly qualified professionals in civil engineering to build a sustainable network within the sector, RIL organizes many high end conferences, WORLD SUSTAINABLE BUILDING CONFERENCE and ITA AITES WORLD TUNNEL CONGRESS being two upcoming ones.
