ABOUT Research Institute for Symbolic Computation

Since 1989, RISC is located in the castle of Hagenberg, a medieval castle 20 km from Linz in the beautiful landscape of the Muhlviertel. The castle has its roots in the 12th century and was in the following centuries repeatedly extended. At the end of the 20th century, it has been renovated and adapted for the needs of a modern computer science institute.
