ABOUT Rowan University

Rowan University is one of the most recognized centers of education in the entire United States of America. In the year 1923 this educational institute was established as Glassboro Normal School. Following many changes of names such as New Jersey State Teachers College at Glassboro in the 1930s and Glassboro State College in 1958, this university was named Rowan University in the year 1992 after Henry Rowan. Dr. Ali Houshmand is the Interim President of this university. This is a premier institute of learning that is situated in Glassboro, New Jersey, USA and has a satellite campus in Camden. This university that is known by many names such as Rowan, The Row, The Boro is abbreviated as RU. This university organizes many events such as Sensors Applications Symposium.
