Marking its beginning in the year 1969, RTMC Inc or the Riverside Telescope Makers Conference was formerly known as the Telescope Makers Conference. The main aim of this company is to promote the field of astronomy and telescope making through generating interest in the general public. The head office of this US based organization is located in Riverside, California from where it operates throughout the US. A brainchild of Mr. Clifford W. Holmes, this organization makes way for the amateur telescope makers to expose their talent before an interested audience. This company is also involved with the production and management of many events and conferences for its target community. The RTMC Astronomy Expo and the Pacific Astronomy and Telescope Show are two events that are organized by this company at regular intervals.
