ABOUT Sadaham Sewana

Based in Sri Lanka, Sadaham Sevana is an organization that works for the promotion of research and study of Buddhism. Being a state sponsored entity, this organization has its main location in the city of Rajagiriya. Currently being led by its chief and founder, Ven. Athuraliye Rathana Thero, this organization aims to build a global platform for Buddhist information and researchers and to create a sustainable economy for the Buddhist community all over the world, among many of its other aims, the chief being to enhance tolerance and a peaceful co existence among the global community. This organization is also a well known proponent of indigenous ayurvedic treatments and meditation. As a part of its activities, this organization also organizes the International Conference on Environment and Humanities in association with the Eco Needs Foundation of India.
