ABOUT Spina Bifida Association

Spina Bifida Association is a voluntary health agency that is working towards the enhancement of lives of children afflicted with the disease since 1973. The association has a network of over 125 staff communities nationwide and through its dedicated efforts works towards bringing joy and hope to those afflicted with the incurable spina bifida. The association works towards helping the patients and affected families by education, advocacy, research, and service. George Sturm who chairs the executive committee of the association is known to put in very dedicated efforts towards leveraging the activities of the association in terms of collecting funds and organizing dedicated events that are would help the members benefit further. The association also helps afflicted students with scholarships and other suitable aids to help further encourage their development. The association also organizes annual conferences to foster learning and growth of affected individuals.
