ABOUT School Science & Mathematics Association

The School Science and Mathematics Association is a professional society of researchers, academicians and teachers who work towards improvising mathematics and science in school. SSMA focuses on promoting research based innovative solutions related to K-16 curriculum oriented work in science and mathematics. Its prime activities include publishing the journal, School Science and Mathematics and a newsletter, the Mathematics Science Connector. Apart from this, the association also hosts an annual national convention, felicitates the people who have showcased exemplary research and provides funding to innovative classroom programs. SSMA actually cam to origin in 1901 but its current stature and name came into being in 1970. Its annual conventions are held during the Fall with the venue changing from year to year.
