ABOUT Sheng Yen Education Foundation

Sheng Yen Education Foundation was established on January 18, 2006 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. It is dedicated to the promotion and propagation of Master Sheng Yen thoughts and ideas. Foundation mission is to promote the ideals of uplifting the character of humanity and building a pure land on earth by purifying people mind and the society through educations. Foundation expects itself to be devoted to a long lasting operation with a steadfast direction and without pre-determined goals. Foundation has established The Sheng Yen Education Foundation Scholarship for the Graduates of Buddhist Seminars to encourage the outstanding students of Buddhist seminars. Its aim is to collect, compile, research, systemize, categorize, translate, edit and publish, produce, circulate, promote, disseminate, and give away Master Sheng Yen publications.
