ABOUT Sociedade Brasileira de Geof?sica

Sociedade Brasileira de Geofisica, SBGf is a Geophysics Society in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Mr. Eduardo Lopes de Faria is the President of the organization. The SBGf founded in the year 1978 has 4,184 members across different universities, research centers and service industry. The basic aim of this society is to study and explore the various environmental tools which contribute in understanding the various sources of renewable and non renewable energy such as minerals, oil, gas and others especially in mineral rich areas like the Amazon region. The SBGf hosted its first congress in 1989. International Congress of SBGf, Symposium of Geophysics, and Technical Forum are some of the workshops and conferences which are organized by the SBGf at regular intervals.
