The SIC Group is today one of the leaders in the organization of international events related to the leather sector. The 'Semaine du Cuir' was created in 1926 by an association of leather professionals and it was the origin of the Conseil National du Cuir ? the representative of the leather profession in France. In 1993, the SIC Group signs up a joint venture with the Hong Kong Trade Fair Group (since then taken over by Miller Freeman and become CMP). It participates in the development of the Asia Pacific Leather Fair in Hong Kong and in the launch of several international events related to the world of leather : the Panamerican Leather Fair in Miami, the All China Exhibition and Moda Shanghai in Shanghai, and Matech China in Dongguan.
