The Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration, also known as SME, is a global professional organization that is entirely dedicated to serve the minerals industry. Representing a worldwide member base spanning across 100 countries that comprise of more than 14,000 professionals from eight sub-sectors including coal and energy, environmental, mineral and metallurgical processing, mining and exploration, underground construction and more.
