ABOUT Sheffield Philatelic Society

Sheffield Philatelic Society founded in the year 1894, is a society dedicated to serve the interests of stamp collecting and stamp preservation. This society also looks after the needs of the members who share the common interests of knowing more about stamp collecting, postal history, thematic collecting and other issues concerning philately. This society turns almost no stone unturned to promote and improve all branches of philately by providing opportunity to sell and buy stamps and offering the benefit of reading books on stamps from the library owned by this society. This organization also publishes The Sheffield Philatelist which is a highly beneficial magazine for all stamp lovers. Captained by the President Mr. Greg Spring this society organizes philatelic events like ABPS National Philatelic and Postcard Exhibition and Dronfield Stamp Fairs.
